Over 350 Taiwan Runners Participate in Boston Marathon, Boston Office Cheers On Site

The 128th edition of the prestigious Boston Marathon took place on April 15, with more than 350 Taiwanese runners participating in the historic event. Many of these runners were participating in the Boston Marathon for the first time and were filled with excitement. The weather on race day was exceptionally warm and comfortable, contributing to many runners achieving great results.

To support the Taiwanese participants, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Boston set up a cheering zone near the finish line. Overseas Taiwanese, students, and the friends and families of the runners gathered to cheer on the Taiwanese athletes. Many Taiwanese runners waved their national flags proudly as they sprinted towards the finish line, making the Taiwanese flag a highlight on both the racecourse and in the spectator area.

Director Liao Chaohong and his wife made a special appearance at the event to congratulate the Taiwanese runners who successfully completed the marathon. They also took commemorative photos with the athletes to express their support and admiration for their accomplishments.
