Orange County Taiwanese Participate in 7/4 National Day Parade to Support Taiwan’s International Voice

In order to promote exchanges between Taiwan and the United States and enhance Taiwan’s visibility in the international community, Team Taiwan, organized by Southern California overseas compatriots, will participate in the 31st Annual American Independence Day Parade in Lake Forest, Orange County on July 4th, under the theme of “Support Taiwan.”

The coordinator of Team Taiwan, Helen Chang, stated that the Independence Day parade in Lake Forest attracts nearly 20,000 spectators every year, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase Taiwan’s unique characteristics and culture to the American public. Participating in the parade not only allows Americans to learn about Taiwan but also promotes cultural exchanges between Taiwan and the U.S., striving to garner more international support for Taiwan.

Helen Chang hopes that through participating in the American Independence Day parade, a new vitality can be injected into the Taiwan-U.S. relationship, working together to enhance Taiwan’s international status. She sincerely invites Taiwanese-Americans and major overseas community organizations to join hands, showcasing Taiwan’s passion and vitality, and conveying Taiwan’s voice to the world.

The assembly time for the parade is 8:00 am on July 4th, at El Toro High School parking lot (25255 Toledo Way, Lake Forest, CA 92630). The parade will take place from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, covering a distance of approximately 1.5 miles. Those interested in participating are kindly requested to register via the following Google form:
