On the second day of the DNC, congressmen discuss how to fight for America’s future.

The Democratic National Convention (DNC) in the United States entered its second day on August 20 with the theme of “Bold Vision for America’s Future,” shifting the spotlight to Kamala Harris and how the Democratic Party is fighting for the future of America.

On the 19th, the Democratic National Convention took place at the United Center in Chicago. Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination to be their candidate for the 2024 presidential election. Democratic Party elites gathered at the United Center in Chicago, including members of the Democratic Party in the House of Representatives.

House Minority Leader and New York State Representative Hakeem Jeffries told NTD that the Democratic Party is striving for a brighter future for Generation Z.

Jeffries addressed Generation Z, saying, “Keep fighting, we are fighting for you, and we will ensure that Generation Z has a brighter future.”

New York State Representative Tom Suozzi stated that Kamala Harris’s performance in the election campaign will “exceed everyone’s expectations.”

Can Vice President Kamala Harris replicate the success achieved by former President Obama in 2008? Representative Suozzi responded, “I believe she will exceed everyone’s expectations. This will be a significant victory for us because everyone is working together.”

Illinois Democratic House Representative Robin Kelly, in an interview with Epoch Times reporter Jan Jekielek, emphasized that in the face of so many global issues affecting the United States, the key is “we need peace,” and the way to achieve peace is to improve everyone’s quality of life.

“I always feel that when we all live better, we will perform better,” she said, adding, “If people live better, perhaps they won’t want to harm others or go to war with others.”
