Taiwanese new-generation boy band U:NUS recently held their first anniversary concert earlier this year. Following the success of the concert, they released a live version of their performance of “Farewell My Concubine” with an MV. Today, they announced a surprise additional show for their anniversary concert, which will take place on August 10th, the Chinese Valentine’s Day, at the Fulfillment Theater in Taichung.
U:NUS has chosen to host the concert outdoors once again, with the members expressing their excitement about the direct interaction with the audience that comes with performing on an outdoor stage. They enjoy the energy of the crowd, who can splash water, sing, and dance together, describing it as a joyful experience. This time, in addition to standing areas for rock fans, there will also be seating available, making it U:NUS’s first concert where fans can choose to sit or stand and dance.
The members personally visited the venue for inspection, expressing their excitement by saying, “We look forward to running around the whole venue, singing from the stage to the audience seats!” U:NUS also hinted that there will be more fun stage presentations with water gun elements to beat the summer heat.
As the concert falls on the Chinese Valentine’s Day, U:NUS revealed that there will be “couples’ tickets” available for purchase on that day. They hope that on this day meant for pairs, everyone can find a companion, whether it be a romantic partner or a friend, to enjoy the concert together.
With the release of their new song “Honey,” U:NUS also sweetly expressed their love to fans and made a promise to meet them at the Chinese Valentine’s Day concert. They said, “We hope that those who love us can also find someone they love to come to the concert with and have a romantic day together.”
