New York City Memorial Day Parade Schedule

Next Monday (May 27) is Memorial Day in the United States, honoring fallen soldiers, making this weekend a long holiday weekend with various commemorative parades and activities taking place nationwide. The New York Police Department has released information this week on parade locations for citizens to attend or watch.

There are a total of 7 parades being organized by the police department. They are as follows:

May 26th (Sunday):

(1) Forest Hills Memorial Day Weekend Parade
Location: Between 75th Road and Trotting Course Lane on Metropolitan Avenue.

(2) 103rd College Point Memorial Day Parade
Starting point: Between Ulmer Street and College Point Boulevard on 28th Street.

May 27th (Monday):

(1) Brooklyn’s 156th Memorial Day Parade
Starting point: Between 71st and 75th Streets on Third Avenue.

(2) Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade
Starting point: Between Nassau Road and Morgan Street on Northern Boulevard.

(3) 105th Staten Island Memorial Day Parade
Starting point: Between Forest Avenue and Castleton Avenue on Hart Boulevard.

(4) Ridgewood Memorial Day Parade
Starting point: Between Myrtle Avenue and Putnam Avenue on Cypress Avenue.

(5) Rockaway Beach Memorial Day Parade
Starting point: Between 129th and 130th Beach Streets on Rockaway Beach Boulevard.
