New York Christians’ June 4th March: Exorcising the Communist Evil Spirit from the Land of God

On the 36th anniversary of the June 4th Tiananmen Square Massacre, protests and marches denouncing the tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have been happening in New York one after another. Thousands of people have taken to the streets during this period to voice their condemnation against the atrocities committed by the CCP. On June 8th, hundreds of individuals from organizations such as the Christian Justice Alliance, the Chinese Democratic Party, and the China Democracy and Human Rights Alliance, along with conscientious individuals from all walks of life, gathered in Flushing to hold a commemorative assembly and march in remembrance of June 4th. They chanted slogans such as “Expel the communist evil spirit, restore our Divine Land” and held banners with messages like “Never forget June 4th, overthrow tyranny” and “CCP, the enemy of humanity; CCP, God will judge.”

Speakers at the assembly emphasized that the CCP is an evil spirit that has trampled upon the land of China, tormenting the souls of the Chinese people. The inherent evil and dark rule of the Communist Party are the root cause of the suffering of countless Chinese citizens, and everyone should stand up and resist the CCP to the end.

Christian and internet personality Moses Zhuo said: “The CCP’s evil spirit has two deadly weapons: deception and killing. It brainwashes with lies and maintains control through violence. The CCP’s deception leads people astray with falsehoods, while its violence suppresses all awakened souls. Schools serve as indoctrination centers, media act as propaganda tools, and even churches are often infiltrated and compromised.”

Activist and independent commentator Zhang Lin pointed out: “The significance of commemorating June 4th is to remind the world of the atrocities of the CCP in the Tiananmen massacre. This evil must not be forgotten and will one day be brought to account.”

Representative of petitioners Jin Yuehua shared her story: In 2000, the Communist Party confiscated all her legal private property, forcing her onto a long and painful path of petitioning. She endured various hardships and torture, including being held in black jails, re-education through labor, mental hospitals, being subjected to poison, needles, home raids, beatings, and humiliation. Her family was torn apart, and after 25 years of petitioning, she still has not received justice.

Jin Yuehua said that her extremely cruel experience with petitioning finally made her realize that it is a path of no return, a dead end with no solution. The CCP is the root cause of all social conflicts and the suffering of the Chinese people. The Party is extremely brutal, and seeking justice through reason and legal means against it is contradictory. Therefore, opposing and eradicating the CCP is the right path. “If we only clean the snow in front of our own doors, it will only pile up more and eventually bury us completely. We must unite and fight the CCP to the end!”

Young activist Gong Kai expressed that during the White Paper Movement in China, he could only shout “Down with the Communist Party” in his residential area, but now that he is in the United States and has freedom, it is his duty to speak out and continue to denounce the CCP regardless of the season.

Gu Kai, who participated in the 1989 Shanghai student movement, stated he was detained and persecuted for his involvement in the movement and has been subject to prolonged harassment and surveillance. He mentioned Wang Miaogen, a supporter of the students from the “Shanghai Workers’ Autonomous Union” at the time, who was repeatedly sent to the “Ankang Hospital” (a mental hospital under the Shanghai Public Security Bureau), where he was treated as a mental patient and subjected to inhumane persecution. Wang is currently missing, and Gu called on the international community to pay attention to Wang Miaogen’s human rights situation.

After the assembly, hundreds of people marched along Main Street, from in front of the Flushing Library to Northern Boulevard, chanting slogans of “Topple the Chinese Communist Party.”
