Upcoming Action Comedy Film “Red One” Starring Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans to Hit Theaters
The action comedy film “Red One,” starring Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans, is set to be released in theaters in the United States on November 15. Today, the first trailer for the movie was released, showcasing the duo teaming up to rescue Santa Claus, who has been abducted.
Directed by Jake Kasdan, known for the “Jumanji” series, “Red One” promises an exciting and hilarious adventure for audiences.
In the trailer, Santa Claus, also known as “Nick” or “Red One,” is kidnapped from the North Pole special zone. The E.L.F. Arctic Command Center then enlists the help of the world’s top tracker, Jack O’Malley (played by Chris Evans), as they embark on a mission to rescue the missing Santa Claus, with Johnson’s character, the head of Arctic Security, joining forces.
In a comedic twist, Johnson’s character transforms a regular toy car into a real Chevrolet Corvette C8 with his Christmas magic. After witnessing this incredible feat, Evans’ character jokingly asks a toy store manager if they have action figures of Wonder Woman, to which Johnson’s character dismissively responds, “That’s not how things work, let’s go!”
As they navigate through the mission to save “Red One,” they encounter various whimsical characters such as Gacia, Campos, and the Abominable Snowman, leading to unexpected and hilarious developments in the story.
Recently, Johnson unveiled the official poster for “Red One,” resembling a wanted poster for Santa Claus. Urging fans to help in the search, Johnson stated, “Sending out a global alert – be on the lookout for this individual, last seen at the North Pole. If you have any information, contact the phone number provided below this ‘Red One’ official poster to reach the E.L.F. Arctic Command Center. We need your help, Christmas is counting on you.”
In a heartfelt message, Johnson added, “Nick (Santa Claus), brother, if you’re reading this article – I will find you.”
“Red One” is scheduled to premiere in theaters in Taiwan and the United States in November 2024, promising audiences an action-packed and entertaining holiday adventure.
