Indianapolis, the capital of Indiana, recently experienced a storm and following the inclement weather, a mysterious spherical object larger than a vehicle suddenly appeared on the streets, sparking curiosity among the local residents.
Reported by WRTV, on June 18th, after the storm swept through Indianapolis, the huge spherical object appeared at North Pasadena Street near 19th Street, piquing the interest of passersby. Many people drove or walked by to catch a glimpse and some even took photos with it.
Sandy Jones, who lives on North Pasadena Street, said, “Our sidewalks here have become a tourist attraction.” She was at home when the storm hit and was shocked by what she saw and heard.
She mentioned that the spherical object must have flown higher than the houses and then dropped to the ground with a “boom” that sounded like an explosion, making her think it was thunder. “It was raining heavily.”
Another resident, Kirby Jarvis, remarked that while they were accustomed to tree branches falling during storms, this incident was particularly unusual. “This thing is too scary. Now there are people coming and going all around, we have never seen anything like this before.”
Jarvis’ family experienced a power outage during the storm. They had to stay inside their home at night. Jarvis said, “Lock the doors, stay inside. (Maybe it’s) aliens, who knows?”
Some residents speculated that the object could be a radar antenna cover, a protective shell designed to shield radar antennas or other equipment from the elements.
Near Pasadena Street, there is a V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) company, occupying a site previously used by Raytheon. An employee of the V2X company informed FOX59 that the radar antenna cover belonged to their company, but they were unsure how it ended up there.
The manager of the company, Andrew Belush, commented, “I think it may have been blown over by the wind and unfortunately flown away. We are grateful that no one was harmed. But the fact is, I can confirm it is not a satellite or spacecraft from aliens.”
