Murder Cases Continue to Rise in June, 4 Criminal Cases Reported in Guangxi, Henan, and Other Provinces

In June, a spate of murders has been plaguing mainland China. Cases of violence have been reported in various regions, including the killing of Guo Moyu, chairman of the political consultative conference in Qinxian County, Shanxi Province, as well as criminal incidents in Bobai County in Guangxi and in Fancheng Town Xijie Village in Linying County, Henan Province, where the number of casualties remains unknown. The Henan police have also issued a reward notice.

On June 5th, the Public Security Bureau of Bobai County in Guangxi announced that a criminal case occurred in Bobai Town, Bobai County in June, where the suspect Chen committed the crime and then went into hiding.

Chen was apprehended on June 5th and is currently under criminal detention.

The official report did not disclose the circumstances of Chen’s crime nor did it specify the extent of injuries or deaths in the case.

Furthermore, on June 3rd, the Public Security Bureau of Linying County, Luohe City, Henan Province issued a reward notice for a criminal case.

The notice stated that on the evening of the 3rd, a major criminal case occurred in Xijie Village, Fancheng Town, Linying County, where a 53-year-old man named Wang Fengwei is suspected of committing a serious crime and is currently at large.

The notice included Wang Fengwei’s photo, height, body type, mentioning an old scar on his head, and describing him as wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, black pants, and brown leather shoes when fleeing.

A reward of 5,000 yuan is being offered for providing information, with a direct capture of the suspect earning 20,000 yuan.

Similarly, the notice did not reveal details of injuries or fatalities related to the criminal case.

On the 4th, the Public Security Bureau of Qinxian County in Changzhi, Shanxi Province reported an incident involving a severe criminal case in a residential area where a 59-year-old man named An Hong stabbed to death Guo Moyu, a 58-year-old man who was the chairman of the Qinxian County political consultative conference.

Local residents told Epoch Times that the suspect likely acted out of frustration. “He (Guo) was supposed to give someone a compensation of 1 million, then changed it to 800,000, and eventually gave the individual 80,000. This incident happened last year and no one addressed it,” explained the resident.

In addition, in the early hours of June 1st, Qiu Jianjun, the deputy director of the Hanxing Police Station in Wuhan, Hubei Province, was fatally stabbed 15 times by a 29-year-old man.

These recent incidents highlight the escalating trend of violent crimes in various regions of mainland China, raising concerns among the public and authorities alike about the need for enhanced security measures and law enforcement efforts to ensure the safety of citizens.
