On May 8th, Chinese actress Wei Jia revealed on Weibo that the famous actor and director Gao Yalin (also known as Gao Yalin) cheated on her and physically abused her during her pregnancy, with the other woman involved being another actress. Wei Jia accused Gao Yalin of choking and slapping her when she was five months pregnant, but she chose not to fight back to protect her unborn child. Interestingly, “Beijing Benmo International Cultural Art Center,” where he owns 51%, has been listed as abnormal operation status due to unreachability at the registered address or business location.
According to Sina Entertainment, after the news of Gao Yalin’s infidelity broke, media outlets reached out to him, his agents, and assistants for clarification, but there was a collective silence from them, offering no response. A crew member familiar with the situation mentioned that Gao Yalin was currently away filming and claimed he was unaware of the scandal.
