In the early morning of June 2nd, a luxury SUV in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, crashed wildly in front of a bar, causing onlookers to scatter in fear.
A viral video showed someone driving a Land Rover crashing recklessly at the entrance of Huahai Bar, damaging many items at the entrance. Surrounding bystanders fled in panic, leaving a scene of chaos. Netizens commented that the incident occurred around 12:05 a.m. on the 2nd, but it’s unclear if anyone was injured.
On the morning of June 2nd, a staff member at a nearby restaurant told Modern Express that they heard about the incident in the morning. “We finish work early at our store, we get off at 9:30 pm, so I guess the incident must have happened after midnight.”
The police in Xiao Dian District of Taiyuan City responded, saying that around midnight on June 2nd, the Land Rover driver, Li Mou Biao, had a dispute with another person after drinking, and then drove his car to crash into the person involved in the argument, causing damage to some items at the entrance of a business. Two people sustained minor injuries while trying to avoid the collision. Li Mou Biao was subdued at the scene.
