Taiwan’s national delicacy, Beef Noodle Soup, steps into New York in a festive manner! The Beef Noodle Festival will be held on Sunday, September 28, from 1 pm to 7 pm at Culture Lab LIC. A limited number of 100 “Noodle Passports” will be available on-site for tasting, each priced at $20 and exchangeable for several small bowls of beef noodle soup (first come, first served at each booth). Even after the tasting passes are sold out, individual orders will continue to be served, allowing attendees to still enjoy the delicious offerings.
The event, centered around “Getting to Know Taiwan Through a Bowl of Noodles,” will showcase classic flavors such as braised, clear broth, and tomato-based beef noodle soups. In addition, there will be Bubble Tea pearl milk tea and Taiwan Beer available on-site (alcoholic beverages restricted to ages 21 and above, ID required). A giant pearl milk tea ball pit and a customizable milk tea cup station will also be set up for photo opportunities and family-friendly interactions.
The organizers, TaiwanFest.NYC, stated, “This year, we are focusing on the experience and sharing, allowing everyone to fully enjoy each bowl of hot soup amidst the lively atmosphere on-site.”

Beef Noodle Soup in Taiwan evolved post-war through ingredient and culinary exchanges, combining the fragrant red braised sauce, savory clear broth, and local seasonings to become one of the most representative Taiwanese dishes. The Beef Noodle Festival uses food as a language, connecting pearl milk tea and Taiwan Beer, creating a city cultural scene where one can taste, interact, and capture through photographs.
