Kep1er, consisting of members Choi Yu-jin, Shen Xiao-ting, Ban Maibai, Kim Chae-hyun, Kim Dohyun, Egasaki Hikaru, Heuningbay Yeb, Xu Yong-en, and Jiang Rui Xu, is facing the end of their originally scheduled activity period this year. The management company has stated that they are currently discussing with the members whether to extend their contract.
Kep1er was formed in 2021 through the reality show “Girls Planet 999,” with plans to engage in activities for 2 years and 6 months, with the contract set to end in July 2024. Today, media reports have indicated that despite this, the members of Kep1er will release another album and hold performances to meet with fans before returning to their respective management companies at the end of July.
In response, WAKEONE Entertainment, the management company, stated today that they are currently in discussions with the members of Kep1er and their agencies regarding the extension of Kep1er’s activity period. Kep1er is preparing a new album and hopes to receive support from everyone.
