Kangaroo Hopping on the Road Causing American Man to Be Late for Work

In a recent incident in West Virginia, a man expressed on social media that he was late for work because a kangaroo was hopping around on the road, not only obstructing traffic but also causing him to be tardy.

The resident of Logan County, Noah A Manns, took to Facebook on August 16 to share his experience of being delayed on his way to work due to a kangaroo bouncing around on the road. He questioned, “What is an adult kangaroo doing running around the street?”

He also shared several photos he took, including one where the kangaroo appeared on the grass beside a residence.

According to Manns, when the kangaroo finally left the road, he was able to capture a few photos of it.

Manns did not report the incident to local authorities as he knew the kangaroo’s owner. They had been raising it since it was very young.

He said, “I called my friend, and she immediately contacted the kangaroo’s owner.” Now, the kangaroo has been safely returned to its owner’s residence.

Beth Southern, the communications director of the West Virginia Department of Agriculture, stated that keeping kangaroos in the state is completely legal.

In a similar incident in Texas back in February, police ended up taking happy photos with a kangaroo after it “escaped.”

The event occurred in Texarkana, Texas, and local police responded to a report from the public about a kangaroo hopping around in Spring Lake Park. Upon arrival, the police discovered that it was a pet kangaroo enjoying a day out with its family in the park.

The officers then happily posed for photos with the kangaroo before allowing it to continue its time in the park.
