Julia’s Young Daughter Becomes Assistant, Joins Mom in Producing Musical.

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie’s 15-year-old daughter, Vivienne, has started following in her mother’s footsteps by working on the Broadway musical “The Outsiders,” which has received twelve Tony Award nominations. Vivienne is assisting her mother in the production.

On the local 13th, 48-year-old Angelina Jolie appeared on “The Today Show” to discuss her new musical “The Outsiders,” where she serves as the producer. Her daughter Vivienne is assisting her in the production. While Angelina discussed the musical on the show, Vivienne stood among the crew members, accompanying her mother. Vivienne was captured on camera smiling happily.

“The Outsiders” tells the story of a group of outsiders struggling to survive in a world that may never accept them after their parents’ deaths. In this harsh reality, they search for purpose, finding solace in brotherly bonds and shared hopes as they fight to protect what is theirs and strive for a better future.

Jolie mentioned that the idea of producing the musical was initially brought to her by Vivienne, linking the production to family. Jolie said, “In the same way, this show resonates for her, and for the same reasons, she wanted me to sit by her while she watched the show. Equally, when I came here, we all embraced each other, it’s all about family and community.”

According to foreign reports, Jolie revealed that her daughter took her assistant role very seriously during the production of “The Outsiders.” She said, “She corrects me and says, ‘Did you not read the memo?’ We have to do this, we have to do that. She’s a very tough assistant, very, very serious about her work.”

This is not the first time Vivienne has worked alongside her mother. At the age of 6, she portrayed the young Aurora princess in the 2014 film “Maleficent” and acted opposite her mother. Jolie often took Vivienne to see stage plays from a young age, eventually deciding to produce “The Outsiders” for Broadway and appointing Vivienne as her assistant.

On April 11th, both attended the Broadway premiere of “The Outsiders,” which received twelve nominations at the 77th Tony Awards on April 30th.

The musical “The Outsiders” is a new stage adaptation based on the 1967 novel of the same name by American writer S.E. Hinton. The novel was previously adapted into a film titled “The Outsiders” in 1983 by renowned director Francis Coppola, known for “The Godfather” series, with stars like Tom Cruise in the cast.

Jolie and her ex-husband Brad Pitt have six children, three adopted and three biological.
