Jockey Captures Attention by Smearing takeout with Feces, Triggering Public Outcry.

Recently, a video showing “someone smearing feces in takeout food” has sparked attention online. According to a Guangdong netizen who posted the video, the individuals involved have been arrested, but the specific location and time were not disclosed.

The circulated video shows a box of takeout food opened on the ground, with a person using a spoon to scoop from a toilet bowl and then spreading it onto the takeout food. An accompanying receipt indicates that the implicated food item is a brand of bucket rice from Guangdong.

On September 29, Jinmu News reported that information from authoritative sources revealed that the individuals involved were delivery riders, and the tainted food was not delivered to consumers but staged for self-promotion. Currently, the delivery rider has been blacklisted by the platform, and the police have apprehended this individual.

This is not the first time such incidents have occurred in mainland China. On September 19, an employee at a bubble tea shop in Shenzhen, Guangdong, for the sake of publicity, placed slippers in the basin containing toppings for bubble tea, mixed it in, and then used their hands to put the toppings in the bubble tea cups. Following the exposure of the video, the store had to close for rectification, incurring significant losses.

In March of this year, a short video of two underage individuals “urinating in hotpot” at a Haidilao Hot Pot restaurant also went viral online, leading to the parents of the two being ordered to pay a staggering compensation of up to 2.2 million yuan.

The incident of the “delivery rider caught smearing feces in takeout food” has once again sparked anger among netizens online.

Many netizens denounced the act, stating, “Goodness, how can one go so far for online traffic, please impose a stricter punishment.” “What is there to show off in such acts, ignorance of the law and shamelessness.” “The quality of delivery workers is worrying.” “I dare not order takeout anymore.” “This seriously jeopardizes the delivery rider’s livelihood.”
