Japanese popular boy band “SUPER EIGHT” (formerly known as Kan-Eight) member Tadayoshi Okura and actress Alice Hirose were reported to have been dating for six months since January 2022. However, Japanese media today (24th) reported that the two have broken up.
In January 2022, it was reported by the Japanese media that Tadayoshi Okura and Alice Hirose grew close after playing a married couple in the January 2021 TV drama “The Wife I Met” and started dating afterward.
Today, “NEWS postseven” reported that due to their co-starring in a TV drama and both having a fondness for drinking, the two openly revealed their relationship to their friends. Alice Hirose’s sister, Suzu Hirose, and Tadayoshi Okura’s juniors often dined with them. However, the reason for their estrangement was explained as “work being too smooth”.
According to the report, an entertainment industry insider revealed that Alice Hirose stopped performing in stage plays in 2022 due to health issues and took a temporary break. Upon returning to work, despite being busy with acting projects last year, her health had not fully recovered. When she needed support, her boyfriend Tadayoshi Okura was busy taking care of his juniors and dealing with issues such as their group’s name change, choosing work over being by his girlfriend’s side.
“NEWS postseven” also reached out to the agencies of the two to confirm if they have indeed broken up. Alice Hirose’s agency did not respond to the inquiry, while Tadayoshi Okura’s agency stated that they “will not comment on the artist’s private matters”.
