Israeli Military Bombs Lebanon and Gaza on Anniversary Eve of October 7 Incident.

On Sunday, October 6th, on the eve of the anniversary of the attack that sparked the Gaza War on October 7th, Israel once again bombed Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.

According to reports from Reuters, late Sunday night, the southern suburbs of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, were once again bombed by Israel, with huge fireballs and explosions echoing through the night sky. Air raid sirens also sounded in northern Israel, including in the city of Haifa.

In the early hours of Sunday, Israel carried out a round of airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, with flashes of red and white lights continuing for nearly 30 minutes amid the sounds of explosions, visible from several kilometers away. This is the most intense bombing of the Lebanese capital by Israel since the significant escalation of strikes against Hezbollah last month.

Later on Sunday evening, the Israeli military issued new evacuation orders, urging residents in the southern part of Beirut to evacuate before further attacks arrive.

The Israeli military stated that in ground operations taken in southern Lebanon, Israeli soldiers attacked Hezbollah’s underground infrastructure, weapon storage facilities, and observation posts.

On Sunday night, Israel announced three additional areas along its northern border as military exclusion zones. In addition, last week Israel also declared five or more areas as military exclusion zones, using them as military assembly points.

The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that an Israeli attack on a building in the central mountain town of Kayfoun resulted in 6 deaths and 13 injuries. The ministry also stated that an attack on the nearby town of Qmatiye also left 6 people dead, including 3 children, and 11 others injured.

In the Gaza Strip, according to reports from the locally managed government media office of Hamas, Israel bombed a mosque and a school housing displaced persons on Sunday, resulting in at least 26 deaths and 93 injuries. The Israeli military stated that they conducted “precision strikes” against Hamas terrorists.

Israel claimed that its air force targeted Hezbollah’s weapons storage facilities and infrastructure with pinpoint strikes.

This new conflict in the Middle East began on October 7th last year when Hamas attacked southern Israel. According to Israeli data, this massacre resulted in approximately 1200 deaths, with over 250 people taken hostage, sparking the war in Gaza.

The conflict in Lebanon also began a year ago when Hezbollah launched cross-border attacks on Israel in support of Hamas, a conflict that has rapidly escalated in recent weeks.
