Investigation by Florida Police: Nearly 30 New Cyber Trucks Vandalized

The Florida authorities announced on Friday (June 21) that overnight from Thursday to Friday, nearly 30 Tesla Cybertruck vehicles were vandalized with spray paint in a parking lot in Fort Lauderdale.

Spokesperson Ali Adamson from the Fort Lauderdale Police Department stated in an email on Friday morning around 9:00 am local time, that 34 damaged Tesla vehicles, most of them being Cybertrucks, were discovered in a parking lot in Fort Lauderdale.

The man who reported the incident mentioned that when he left the parking lot on Thursday, the trucks were in “good condition.”

A video was posted on the Instagram account “Only in Dade” on Friday, showing several Cybertruck vehicles with black spray paint graffiti insulting Tesla CEO Elon Musk on the front.

The person recording the video stated that Tesla had rented an empty parking lot to store the new vehicles and had started delivering them earlier this week.

It is expected that these vehicles will soon be cleared or removed from the parking lot.

The Fort Lauderdale police are currently investigating the incident.

The prices of these electric trucks range from just over $60,000 to nearly $100,000.
