According to a report by Sohu Video News on the 23rd of June, on June 21st, a 57-year-old woman in Ulanqab was hit and thrown by a passing vehicle while waiting for the traffic light, resulting in her immediate death.
The report stated that the victim’s daughter, Ms. Liang, said that nearby surveillance cameras captured the moment her mother was hit and thrown onto the sidewalk, reaching for her phone to call for help. The driver of the involved vehicle opened the passenger door to look but quickly closed it, then abruptly accelerated the vehicle, rolling over the woman from her head to her body. “My mother was crushed to death,” she said.
