HYEIN to participate in NewJeans fan meeting, adjusting schedule flexibly.

In April this year, HYEIN (Lee Hye In), a member of the popular South Korean girl group NewJeans, suffered a minor ankle fracture and decided to temporarily halt some of her activities to focus on treatment and rest. Today, her management company ADOR announced that she has gradually recovered and will participate in selected events based on her condition. She is set to join NewJeans’ fan meeting at the Tokyo Dome.

According to an announcement made by ADOR on Weverse today, HYEIN recently underwent a check-up and it was found that the fracture had healed. The doctor recommended a gradual rehabilitation process for her over the next month. Taking into account the physician’s advice and after thorough discussions with the company, HYEIN decided to participate in the “Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome” fan meeting on June 26th and 27th.

The company emphasized that due to the need for HYEIN to have sufficient time for rehabilitation and to avoid putting strain on the healed area, they are adjusting her participation in upcoming activities. They hope for everyone’s understanding regarding HYEIN’s inability to take part in some performances.

Furthermore, the company mentioned that as HYEIN is unable to participate in activities that involve dancing, such as music programs, she may be involved in other schedules depending on her condition. If the medical team deems her fully recovered and stable, HYEIN will return to team activities, and they seek everyone’s support for her.

As NewJeans is set to release their debut single “Supernatural” in Japan tomorrow, HYEIN flew to Japan today along with other group members. They will present their new song on a Japanese program on the 21st for the first time and hold a fan meeting at the Tokyo Dome on the 26th and 27th.
