In 2020, during a routine press conference hosted by Hua Chunying, a journalist inquired about Twitter deleting accounts related to pro-CCP propaganda. Hua Chunying responded by stating that there were “malicious lies against China” on platforms like Twitter, emphasizing the need for “just voices from the Chinese side” to counter this. During her response, Hua Chunying blinked 55 times in 49 seconds.
