On May 18, Hengfeng Bank held its 26th-anniversary dinner at Crown Seafood Restaurant. Nearly 300 people attended the celebration, including all staff and directors of Hengfeng Bank Houston, as well as managers and some employees from Dallas, California, and Nevada. Guests of honor such as Director Xiao Yifang from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston, Director Wang Yingrong from the Overseas Chinese Education Center, and Houston City Auditor Chris Hollins were invited to attend the event and deliver congratulatory speeches.
The event kicked off with a retrospective video showcasing Hengfeng Bank’s journey since its establishment, along with memorable moments. Chairman Wu Wenlong expressed his excitement at seeing the bank’s growth over the past 26 years, acknowledging the trust of all employees in the bank and the collective efforts of the directors. He was deeply moved by the progress portrayed in the 50-minute photo montage.
Chairman Wu revisited the early days of the bank’s establishment 26 years ago in his address. He specifically recognized the “Original 38” employees who have been with the bank since its inception, as well as retired employees in attendance, creating a touching moment. He emphasized that Hengfeng Bank’s success today is attributed to the dedication of all directors and staff, as well as the bank’s strict control over loan quality and internal management mechanisms, enabling steady progress regardless of external challenges.
During the celebration of the bank’s 26th anniversary, Chairman Wu made a request to all employees to work together towards achieving the bank’s total assets goal of $3 billion. The enthusiastic response from all employees demonstrated the strong corporate cohesion and teamwork spirit at Hengfeng Bank.
The celebration featured a karaoke competition with 12 teams comprised of employees from various departments and branches participating. The competition was fierce as each team showcased their talents by combining singing and performances, leaving guests amazed. The highlight of the event was the cash prize draw during the karaoke awards ceremony, where every employee won a cash prize, with the highest amount being $888.88.
The evening was filled with joy, camaraderie, and a sense of achievement as Hengfeng Bank marked its 26th anniversary with gratitude towards its dedicated staff and a vision for continued success in the future.
