Henan Golden Retriever Stops Wedding Car to ask for a Red Envelope, Groom’s Family Laughs and Gives 200 Yuan

Recently, a video of a golden retriever stopping a wedding car to bow and ask for a red envelope has gone viral on the internet, sparking discussions and amusement among netizens. On October 4th, Mr. Shao, the owner of the dog, shared that he resides in Changyuan City, Henan Province. His niece was getting married, and his golden retriever halted the wedding car, bowed, and received a red envelope of 200 yuan from the groom’s family.

Mr. Shao told Dawan News that on October 2nd, during his niece’s wedding, his golden retriever named “Mao Mao” spotted the wedding car, walked directly in front of it, squatted down, and continuously bowed. No matter how he called it, “Mao Mao” ignored him.

He continued, stating that the groom’s family was generous and intentionally gave “Mao Mao” a 200 yuan red envelope. After taking the red envelope in its mouth, the dog turned around and left.

Mr. Shao mentioned that “Mao Mao” stopped the wedding car spontaneously, and similar incidents had occurred before, not due to any prompting or staging.

In the video captured at the scene, a household was hosting a wedding, and a golden retriever blocked the wedding car, continuously standing up to bow.

A man in the video jokingly said, “Haha, without a red envelope this time, you can’t leave. Quickly give the red envelope.”

Onlookers at the scene chuckled and took out their phones to record the amusing encounter. Subsequently, a man in black handed a red envelope to the golden retriever. It took the red envelope in its mouth and walked away. As it left, it even winked at the camera held by the owner.
