Less than a week away from election day, the vice president, Kamala Harris, and former President Trump’s campaign situation is very tight. In terms of which candidate is more favorable in protecting American democracy/national unity and national security, the Gallup poll results are as follows:

A Gallup survey released on Friday (November 1) showed that more than half of the voters believe that Kamala Harris is doing a better job in protecting democracy than the former president, with support rates of 52% and 44% respectively.

According to the survey, Democrats who prioritize protecting democracy outnumber Republicans, at 14% and 8% respectively.

96% of Democrats believe that Kamala Harris is the best candidate to uphold democratic principles, while 89% of Republicans believe Trump is the best choice.

In terms of protecting and promoting national unity, Kamala Harris has a support rate of 54%, while the former president has a support rate of 41%.

The data also shows that 82% of Republicans believe the former president is the best candidate for promoting national unity.

When it comes to protecting the United States from foreign threats, Trump holds an advantage. According to the poll, in protecting U.S. territory, the Republican presidential candidate obtained 53% support, whereas Kamala Harris had a support rate of 45%.

The survey found that among Republicans and those leaning towards the Republican Party, 96% said the former president is their top choice for protecting national security, while approximately 86% of Democrats believe the vice president is the best candidate.

About 35% of Republicans and 7% of Democrats said that economic issues are most important to them.

For voters going to polling stations to vote in person, economic issues are their top concern. However, in the survey, only slightly over 20% of voters prioritized the economy.

According to the survey, only 13% of registered voters said immigration issues are their top concern, with 9% stating that abortion issues are most important.
