Futian Special Plane Arrives in Beijing and Taken Away Immediately, Child Undergoes DNA Identification

Former Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang’s sudden disappearance and dismissal continue to ferment after news broke last year. Reports suggest that Qin Gang and Hong Kong Phoenix TV anchor Fu Xiaotian had a son together. In April last year, after Fu Xiaotian’s private plane landed in Beijing, she was immediately taken away by authorities, and the child underwent a DNA test confirming the connection to Qin Gang.

Over a year since Fu Xiaotian’s disappearance, overseas journalist He Pin revealed on a video program on April 22nd that Fu Xiaotian fell into a “trap” when she returned from the United States to China on a private plane. She was unaware of any abnormalities and even hurriedly informed her friends in Beijing upon landing at the airport, arranging gatherings and meetups.

He Pin disclosed that based on current information, this was Fu Xiaotian’s last contact with the outside world, and she may have been taken away around the time of entering customs.

Chinese authorities also took Fu Xiaotian’s child for a DNA test, with the results confirming a link to Qin Gang. Outraged by the situation, Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping removed Qin Gang from his position. After a period of investigation, it was found that Qin Gang had some “issues and mistakes” in his work style and diplomatic affairs.

On February 12th this year, a column by senior Washington Post writer David Ignatius claimed to have interviewed a senior U.S. government official, a former official with ties to Beijing, and a diplomat. The article mentioned Qin Gang’s extramarital affair with Fu Xiaotian, who allegedly gave birth to a child through an American surrogate mother. Fu was said to be a spy for British intelligence agencies, with her espionage activities posing a threat to Qin. A former U.S. official stated that the Russian Federal Security Service had previously warned Chinese national security agencies about this.

He Pin noted that based on the limited information available, Qin Gang’s economic issues pale in comparison to those of former Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu, as the Ministry of Defense is a crucial environment for corruption among Chinese officials, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has limited financial resources and is relatively more transparent.
