Funny Scene: Horse Patiently Waits for Train While Avoiding Heavy Rain

Late-night on April 5th, an unexpected passenger was spotted sprinting through the Warwick Farm train station in Australia.

Surveillance cameras captured footage of a horse seeking shelter from the heavy rain as it dashed through the parking lot and into the station’s gates.

“It wandered back and forth on the platform for about 5 minutes, seemingly looking to cause a bit of mischief at Horsely Park,” a statement from the New South Wales Transport agency said.

As the train arrived at the station, the patient horse seemed poised to calmly board, but eventually nervously trotted away.

The horse was eventually taken to the parking lot and safely returned to its owner in stable condition.

The Sydney Trains Safety Team was notified of this unusual passenger and cautioned trains in the area to operate at reduced speed.

“Those involved had no plans to take any further action as the horse was just roaming around!” an Instagram post by the New South Wales Transport agency stated.

The humorous video of the horse casually strolling around the Warwick Farm train station shared by the transportation department went viral online, with their pun-laden remarks about the horse reaching a peak.

“To all those against ‘horse on train,’ please shout ‘neigh,'” one social media user wrote.

“I think it wanted to go to the racecourse, hoping to win and cover its travel expenses,” another commented. The transportation department joked, “Since it was caught on the run, it won’t be prosecuted.”

“I would tell it not to wander off again,” a third social media user wrote.

Many internet users were astonished to see the disciplined horse waiting behind the yellow line for the train to arrive, speculating that this might not be the horse’s “first rodeo performance.”
