Ford Recalls 227,000 Vehicles in the US Due to Windshield Blockage Issues

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of the United States announced on Thursday, October 30th, that Ford Motor Company will be recalling 227,006 vehicles due to issues including windshield bubbles and loose seat frames.

This recall includes 163,256 units of the Bronco SUV, where the front seat bolts may loosen, as well as 56,841 units of Lincoln and Explorer models, where visible bubbles have appeared on the windshield.

Additionally, the recall also involves 6,909 units of the Econoline van, due to malfunctioning defrost and defog systems.

Dealers will replace the faulty parts causing the recall free of charge, according to NHTSA.

Previously, Ford Motor Company had recalled 175,000 vehicles on Wednesday, involving Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs and F-series pickups, due to sunroof wind deflector detachment.
