Five Announcements of Flag Planting in Oceania, First to Perform in New Zealand and Australia, Four Consecutive Shows in 10 Days

The popular band “Gao Wu Ren” is currently on their first ever world tour titled “Fun in the Universe,” with weekly concerts ongoing. In June, they crossed the equator from the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere, visiting Australia and New Zealand in Oceania for the first time for a 10-day tour, performing in four major cities.

Since starting their journey at the Taipei Arena last year, “Gao Wu Ren” has held nearly 40 large-scale shows across 3 continents, in 26 iconic cities, traveling over 80,000 kilometers, equivalent to circling the Earth twice, setting a new record for themselves.

Members of “Gao Wu Ren,” Han Qing, Yun An, and Zhe Qian, all set foot in Oceania for the first time. They confessed that meeting their fans, called “Hague” in the southern hemisphere for the first time made them nervous, but they were deeply moved by the overwhelming chorus, feeling touched and heartened.

During their short 10-day tour in Australia and New Zealand, they performed in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, and Perth, receiving the same warm reception despite the distance across the Pacific. Their performances in New Zealand and Australia included hits like “Not Easy,” “Thinking of You Under the Stars,” and when they sang “Darkness Falls Again,” the fans were moved to tears.

Additionally, whenever they arrive in a new city, “Gao Wu Ren” are accustomed to exploring various landmarks step by step. They not only set foot on the stage of the nearly century-old theater The Civic Auckland in Auckland and performed at the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne, but also visited the Sydney Opera House, attended a “koala meet and greet,” and strolled through the iconic red maple forest in Melbourne, recharging and gaining a lot of creative inspiration in a short period of time.
