Final Stage of Election Campaign: Hsieh Chin-li to Visit All Battleground States

In an upcoming whirlwind campaign tour, US Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, alongside her running mate Tim Walz, is set to visit all seven battleground states in the next few days as they gear up for a final blitz leading up to the November 5th election.

According to reports from the Associated Press, on Sunday, Harris will spend the day in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, starting with a morning church service followed by a visit to a barbershop. She also plans to dine at a Puerto Rican restaurant and visit a youth basketball facility.

In the final stretch of the campaign, Harris has been focusing on the issue of abortion rights. In a Sunday interview on CBS News, she declined to disclose her stance on any restrictions on abortion, emphasizing instead the importance of upholding the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, calling it “fundamental.”

Two years ago, the conservative-leaning US Supreme Court overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that legalized abortion nationwide. President Trump’s appointment of three justices during his tenure played a pivotal role in this decision.

While Harris campaigns in Pennsylvania, her running mate, Minnesota Governor Walz, is headed to Las Vegas, Nevada. On Monday, the Vice Presidential candidate will visit Manitowoc and Waukesha in Wisconsin before joining Harris for a rally in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where singer Maggie Rogers is scheduled to perform.

On Tuesday, Harris will return to the nation’s capital to deliver a speech on The Ellipse just south of the National Mall. Her campaign team describes this as her “closing argument.”

Walz will hold campaign events in Savannah and Columbus, Georgia on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Harris will visit North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. An event in Madison, Wisconsin is expected to feature a performance by Mumford & Sons and other musicians.

That same day, Walz will campaign in Charlotte and Asheville, North Carolina.

On Thursday, Harris will attend rallies in Reno, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, with the Mexican band Maná performing in Las Vegas and California’s “Los Tigres del Norte” in Phoenix.

On the same day, Walz will campaign in Harrisburg and Erie, Pennsylvania, as well as Detroit, Michigan.
