Recently, in the Yancheng District Court of Luohe City, Henan Province, a female judge was killed in an underground garage. The perpetrator has been apprehended.

It has been circulating online that a judge in the Yancheng District Court of Luohe City, Henan Province was murdered. According to an individual who posted online, on August 7, after finishing her work, the female judge went home as usual. As she got out of her car in the underground garage of her residential area, an elderly man suddenly grabbed her from behind and slit her throat with a knife. The judge collapsed in a pool of blood and was later found by someone who took her to the hospital, but unfortunately, she could not be saved.

The female judge was identified as Wang, in her thirties. The elderly man, a resident of Luohe Yancheng District in his sixties, who was single, had previously been injured in a scooter accident and spent 18,000 yuan on medical expenses. After being discharged from the hospital, he sued the other party, demanding compensation of 18,000 yuan. However, Judge Wang ruled that both parties were equally responsible and only required a payment of 9,000 yuan from each.

Displeased with the ruling, the elderly man seized the opportunity to kill Judge Wang. Subsequently, he attempted suicide at home by consuming pesticide but was saved, and he has now been arrested.

Regarding this incident, on August 9, Red Star News contacted the Yancheng District Court, where the person answering the phone claimed to be the judge’s clerk and stated that the judge “cannot answer calls now, and will not be able to in the future.” Furthermore, officials from the Yancheng District Court confirmed the incident and mentioned that the police are handling the case.
