I like to walk alone in nature
Appreciating the subtleties and wonders of the world
Classical Chinese dance has a clever connection with the natural world
It seems to breathe with the stars and galaxies of the universe
The rhythmic movements of nature
All things dancing in the wind
The rustle of pine needles
The fall of the last red leaves
The gracefully drifting clouds
The murmuring of the stream
Her rhythm cannot be seen or touched
Yet it possesses a heart-shaking power
Classical Chinese dance has accompanied my growth
I have tasted its ups and downs
Struggling through daily classes and rehearsals
Helping me understand what resilience truly means
What it takes to forge ahead courageously
The boundless sea of art, a boat made through hard work
Not only must the body be laborious
But the heart and mind must also endure hardships
Criticism during rehearsals
Is an opportunity for self-improvement
The pressure encountered during performances
Is the process of tempering one’s will
Cherish all that history has bestowed upon us
In order to achieve noble realms and great accomplishments
Keep in mind truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance
Even in the face of storms and vicissitudes of life
It cannot shake my pursuit of art and ideals
Letting go of self-attachment
Purifying one’s mindset
Finding joy in the midst of difficulties and growing happily
Dancing, propagating the divine culture
