Eason Chan Falls during Beijing Concert, Scaring Fans with a Loud Bang.

Hong Kong singer Eason Chan’s “FEAR and DREAMS” world tour concert kicked off in Beijing on July 13. During the performance, he accidentally fell while reportedly getting too immersed in the show, with a loud thud of his fall startling the audience.

Video footage that has surfaced shows Chan belting out a heartfelt song on stage, only to unintentionally misstep while moving backward, causing him to lose his balance and tumble heavily backwards. Although he quickly got back on his feet to continue singing, eyewitnesses mentioned that the fall made a significant impact, prompting gasps from the fans in the audience.

Fortunately, Chan was wearing thick clothing that cushioned his fall, allowing him to swiftly recover and resume the concert without missing a beat. During a later segment of the show where he interacted with fans, he humorously pretended to collapse on the floor before getting back up, saying, “That fall just now was real, but it’s all good! Excuse me,” and jokingly added, “I have a padded butt, won’t get hurt,” playfully easing his fans’ concerns.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Eason Chan has had health and safety mishaps. In 2024, he collapsed while playing tennis due to heatstroke, resulting in a torn chin and fractured cheekbone that required over 30 stitches, leading to the postponement of his concert in Chongqing, China. In May 2025, he tested positive for COVID-19, leading to the cancellation of his concert in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and was also mistakenly rumored to have passed away, only to personally debunk the false reports.

After his recent fall, some fans pointed out that Chan had also fallen during a performance in January this year, raising concerns about potential safety hazards and a noticeable gap in stage design without warning signs in place to prevent such incidents.
