China Earthquake Networks Center officially determined that at 20:08 on September 18, a magnitude 4.7 earthquake occurred in Feidong County, Hefei City, Anhui Province (latitude 31.98 degrees, longitude 117.60 degrees), with a depth of 12 kilometers.
The epicenter was 16 kilometers from Feidong County, 31 kilometers from Yaohai District, 34 kilometers from Baohe District, 34 kilometers from Luyang District, and 35 kilometers from Shushan District, all within 37 kilometers from Hefei City.
According to the quick report catalog of China Earthquake Networks Center, within a radius of 200 kilometers around the epicenter, there have been a total of 13 earthquakes with a magnitude of 3 or above in the past 5 years, with the current earthquake being the largest in magnitude.
