Climbing mountains after a blizzard, continuously falling into ice caves, every step is a struggle, waiting for dawn in the darkness… To capture a photo, 27-year-old Hong Kong landscape photographer Kelvin Yuen walked 100 kilometers in the high-altitude plateau at 4500 meters above sea level. He describes himself as “at home in the wilderness”.
Kelvin Yuen recently won the championship at the EPSON International Panoramic Photography Contest, becoming the Photographer of the Year. With 4,500 photographers from 95 countries and regions participating in the competition, he stood out among them, and behind each award-winning work lies his tremendous dedication.
