“Don’t Touch Our Children” Organization Holds Nationwide Rally to Protest Transgender Movement

Non-profit organization “Hands Off Our Children” recently launched a campaign called “Call to the Capitol” in Washington D.C. and all 50 states across the United States to protest the imposition of gender ideology in public schools and the encouragement of secret gender transitions.

On April 13th (last Saturday), parental rights activists from across the United States gathered at state capitol buildings in Washington D.C. and in all 50 states to hold prayer rallies.

The event, named “Hands Off Our Children,” was initiated by the “Her Voice Movement.” The rallies took place from 1 pm to 3 pm local time last Saturday at state capitol buildings across the country.

Even in the face of stormy weather, hundreds of people gathered in front of the state capitol building in the capital of California to participate in the event, holding umbrellas to shield themselves from the rain.

Li Aichen, who ran for Mayor of San Francisco three times, also attended the prayer rally that day. She shared with reporters that despite the harsh weather conditions of strong winds and heavy rain, over a thousand people still attended the event. She emphasized that even in such adverse weather, mothers and parents were determined to save their children.

Li Aichen and several other mothers drove for over two hours to reach the rally venue. She expressed concern over the California government’s advocacy for transgenderism and the encouragement of children undergoing organ removal.

She believes that such practices can cause immense harm to children’s lives, with many transgender individuals dying prematurely or committing suicide. She stressed the importance of protecting children from the harmful effects of the transgender movement, stating that only by doing so can American society have a future.

According to the website of “Her Voice Movement,” the country is facing a crisis, with one in five young people from Generation Z identifying as LGBT. Some states allow abortion, even up to full term. The gender ideology movement is eroding traditional family values and plunging the world into chaos. The organization encourages women to establish prayer centers to “pray monthly to change various cultural domains.”

The Intercessors For America (IFA) in the United States deployed numerous prayer groups to participate in or lead prayer rallies at state capitol buildings.

During the activities, there was about 30 minutes of prayer to ask for repentance from participants involved in the gender ideology movement.

Attendees shared stories of the harm caused to children by transgender and other gender ideology beliefs. Former transgender girl Chloe Cole spoke at the event, sharing her experience of walking away from the lies of transgenderism.

In a prayer rally held in Austin, Texas last Saturday, approximately 1,500 people attended, dressed in pink or blue to show support for their birth gender. According to ABC11 News, a prayer rally opposing transgenderism in North Carolina’s state capitol was held concurrently with a pro-LGBT rally.

Reportedly, hundreds of school districts across America have passed policies allowing or recommending school staff to conceal information about children’s gender identity or sexual orientation from parents.

In June 2022, the Biden administration issued the “Executive Order on Advancing Equality for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Individuals,” urging the Department of Health and Human Services to collaborate with states to expand transgender medical care and joining forces with the Federal Trade Commission to combat so-called “conversion therapy.” Conversion therapy, which includes simple talk therapy aimed at easing the distress caused by gender dysphoria, is a treatment method advocated by opponents of underage transgenderism.

As of November 2022, 46 states and the District of Columbia allow “gender affirmation therapy” for minors.

Alabama, Arkansas, Alaska, and Tennessee restrict this treatment for minors.

24 states and the District of Columbia prohibit excluding transgender therapies from health insurance coverage, whether for minors or adults.

26 states and the District of Columbia’s Medicaid policies cover transgender treatments, while 15 states do not have explicit policies regarding this insurance and care but do not prohibit it.

Nine states explicitly exclude transgender treatments from medical assistance policies.
