David Beckham’s eldest son and his wife criticized for dyeing their pet dog.

Recently, football superstar David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, along with his wife Nicola Peltz, received criticism for dyeing their pet dogs in various colors, causing accusations of animal abuse.

Brooklyn and the heiress Nicola Peltz have several pet dogs, and videos of them playing with their beloved pets can often be seen. However, in a recent video, one of the dogs appeared with bright orange ears and paws, and a pink body when held by Nicola. Another screenshot captured by netizens showed a white dog turned pink, with its ears and hind legs dyed in purple.

The images sparked outrage among netizens. Many expressed concerns about the dyeing process, fearing it could endanger the dogs’ health.

In fact, some animal experts have pointed out that the skin of dogs is close to neutral pH, making it susceptible to bacterial infections. The chemicals in hair dyes can easily penetrate the skin and be ingested when dogs lick themselves. Animal protection groups also oppose the practice of dyeing pets, emphasizing that animals are not decorative objects and such behavior may constitute animal cruelty.

While some argue that there are natural hair dyes specifically made for pets that are not harmful to animals and are temporary, usually washing off after one bath, the backlash prompted Brooklyn and his wife to quietly delete the videos of the dyed dogs and related Instagram stories.
