On April 20, 2024, Falun Gong practitioners in the UK held a march and rally in London to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the peaceful appeal by 10,000 practitioners on April 25.
The march procession was divided into five major formations: Falun Dafa Spreads Throughout the World, Falun Dafa Exercise Display Formation, White-Clothed Formation in Memory of Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners who died as a result of the persecution, Advocacy to Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong, and the Support for the “Three Withdrawals” Movement for 420 million Chinese to quit the Chinese Communist Party, as well as a Waist Drum Formation.
The march started from the Chinese Embassy in London and passed through Oxford Street, Chinatown, and held a press conference outside 10 Downing Street, the location of the British Prime Minister’s residence, calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist regime. Many British onlookers stopped to take photos and watch.
