“Clean World” Night of Crime Fighting Gains Popularity in America

On August 5th, the annual “National Night Out” and the 42nd Police-Community Day were held simultaneously in all 50 states across the United States. This event brought together citizens, community groups, businesses, and law enforcement agencies to promote cooperation between police and the community, community safety, and anti-violence ideals, making it the largest community safety promotion event in the United States.

As the law enforcement agency in the largest city in America, the New York City Police Department’s various precincts also hosted celebrations, inviting residents to enjoy food, amusement facilities, live music, and other engaging programs to strengthen their connections with each other. The event was educational and entertaining, suitable for people of all ages, aligning well with the concept of creating a positive and healthy community advocated by “Clean World.”

Susan, the head of the English Department of “Clean World” in New York, mentioned in an interview that the organization has been participating in the National Night Out event for the third consecutive year, setting up booths in multiple states and cities to promote positive values. The booth set up at Astoria Park in Queens was particularly lively, attracting many visitors.

At the event, the exquisite bookmarks, lotus flower charm keychains, and bracelets provided by “Clean World” were highly popular. Many visitors scanned the QR codes on-site to download the “Clean World” app, actively taking part in the platform’s flagship activity “Kindness is Cool,” posing for photos and holding up signs in support in front of the booth.

A gentleman named Issac Mira ran over joyfully, expressing his desire to endorse the “Kindness is Cool” campaign. He emphasized that regardless of one’s background or experiences, everyone has the choice to be kind to others. Especially during challenging moments, kindness can have a profound impact on one’s life. Being good to others ultimately results in receiving kindness in return. Moreover, kindness is free, requiring only a kind heart. He encouraged everyone to share and spread kindness.

Volunteers at the event introduced to participants that “Clean World” is dedicated to providing a platform with free, non-violent, and non-explicit content, especially in today’s media landscape filled with negative information, aiming to create a clean and safe online environment for families and the next generation.

During the summer vacation, the platform launched online summer camp courses that combine education and entertainment, receiving high praise from parents. Some parents at the event proactively downloaded the app and inquired about how to enroll, expressing a high level of approval for the course content and convenience.

The “Clean World” booth was conveniently located next to the 114th Precinct of the New York City Police Department, fostering lively interactions between them. A police chief who had participated in the 2023 event recognized the “Clean World” team at the event and commended their rapid development and rich content, believing that this platform contributes to community stability and child protection, deserving nationwide promotion to various police departments.

Congresswoman Grace Meng from New York State also attended the event that evening. She expressed, “I am delighted to see the ‘National Night Out’ being enthusiastically held across the country, to participate in tonight’s police-community event, and to witness the cooperation and trust between the community and law enforcement agencies. I am incredibly proud.” She urged everyone to continue working hand in hand to build a harmonious, safe, and healthy society.
