At the memorial service for Charlie Kirk, Mrs. Wang, a Chinese attendee, expressed, “He is the American president in my heart.” She was most impressed by Kirk’s courage.
Reflecting on the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Mrs. Wang likened the event to the unforgettable “911” terrorist attacks, describing it as a “national-level event” that caused “great loss to America,” leading to the entire nation mourning.
Mrs. Wang expressed regret for Kirk’s premature death, stating, “In history, not only American history but even the entire world, it’s rare to come across such a figure.”
Kirk once answered a question on a program about how he would like to be remembered after his death, saying, “I hope to be remembered for my courage in faith.” Today, he has truly left behind this brave testimony with his life.
“He had the most impressive courage, coupled with his broad knowledge and humility towards others. He was truly a role model for Christians, a perfect person,” Mrs. Wang said.
On September 10, during a campus event at Utah Valley University, Kirk was shot and killed. This dealt a major blow to the conservative movement in America, but Kirk’s words before his death resonated with a large number of people.
Mrs. Wang stated that Kirk brought about “explosive impact,” stating that “many people did not know him before, but because of his passing, he sparked reactions and inspired more moderate voters. People who did not know him, even those abroad, would go to see his speeches. His words have spread worldwide, making more people aware.”
Regarding those who oppose Kirk, Mrs. Wang calmly advised, “I hope they can take a look at Kirk’s words on the internet. Before criticizing him, slandering him, or labeling him, they should ask themselves whether it is true and fair to him.”
“His words are really crucial for the new generation of America, for the next generation. We need to return to the word of God. He awakened the new generation and exposed all the problems existing in America, providing solutions. This is his greatness, something many scholars cannot achieve.”
