Chinese Communist Rocket Flies Over Eastern Taiwan ADIZ, National Army Vigilantly Monitors

The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China (Taiwan) stated that at 10:33 a.m. today (24th), the Chinese Communist Party’s Shanxi Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center was detected in the Yellow Sea, carrying out a satellite launch mission with a carrier rocket.

According to the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China, the Chinese rocket was flying southward, passing through the eastern part of Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) towards the eastern waters of the Philippines, at an altitude outside the atmosphere and posing no threat to Taiwan.

The Taiwanese Ministry of National Defense indicated that the armed forces are utilizing a joint surveillance system to closely monitor the related developments and remain on appropriate alert and response.

Today, the Taiwanese Ministry of National Defense disclosed the activities of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) vessels in the airspace surrounding the Taiwan Strait from 6 a.m. on the 23rd to 6 a.m. today, detecting 6 instances of PLA ships continuing their operations around the Taiwan Strait.

The Taiwanese Ministry of National Defense stated that the military is employing mission aircraft, ships, and land-based missile systems to closely monitor and respond to such activities.

Despite ongoing tensions and military activities in the region, Taiwan remains vigilant and committed to safeguarding its national security and territorial integrity.
