The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China (Taiwan) announced that early this morning (13th), surveillance detected the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) conducting a satellite launch mission with a carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. Additionally, from 6 a.m. on the 12th to 6 a.m. today, a total of 39 CCP ships were detected causing disturbances near Taiwan, with the Taiwanese military closely monitoring and responding.
The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China issued a press release stating that at 2:09 a.m. today, the CCP launched a carrier rocket carrying a satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. The rocket’s flight path passed through central Taiwan towards the western Pacific Ocean, at an altitude outside the atmosphere, posing no threat to Taiwan.
The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China pointed out that the military utilized a joint surveillance system to closely monitor the relevant dynamics and take appropriate vigilance and responses.
Furthermore, the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China today released information on the CCP’s activities in the airspace around the Taiwan Strait. Statistics from 6 a.m. on the 12th to 6 a.m. today show that a total of 31 incidents involving CCP aircraft (30 of which crossed the median line to enter the airspace in the north and southwest) and 7 CCP ships along with 1 government vessel continued to operate around the waters near the Taiwan Strait.
According to the activity diagram of CCP forces entering the airspace around the Taiwan Strait released by the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China, from 6 a.m. to 9:35 p.m. on the 12th, there were 25 incidents of CCP fighter jets, accompanying aircraft, and drones intruding into the airspace in central Taiwan, with 24 incidents crossing the median line. From 1:35 p.m. to 7:35 p.m., there were 6 incidents of CCP fighter jets entering the airspace in southwest Taiwan.
The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China emphasized that the military is using mission aircraft, ships, and shore-based missile systems to closely monitor and respond to the situation.
