The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China stated that as of 7:10 am today (September 25), they have detected 23 instances of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft conducting activities at sea. Among them, 22 instances crossed the median line, and the military closely monitored and appropriately handled the situation using joint intelligence surveillance measures.
The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China today released information on the PLA’s activities in the airspace around Taiwan. According to statistics from 6 am on the 24th to 6 am today, 2 instances of PLA aircraft (crossing the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entering the eastern airspace), and 6 instances of PLA vessels, were detected conducting activities in the vicinity of the Taiwan Strait.
Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense pointed out that the military closely monitors and responds using surveillance aircraft, ships, and shore-based missile systems.
The Ministry of National Defense of Taiwan stated today that as of 7:10 am, they have continuously detected 23 instances of various types of PLA aircraft, including J-16, KJ-500, as well as drones, conducting activities at sea. Among them, 22 instances crossed the median line extension and entered the southwest and eastern airspace of Taiwan, carrying out “far-sea long-range” missions.
According to Chinese state media reports, the PLA Rocket Force successfully launched an intercontinental ballistic missile carrying a training simulation warhead into the Pacific Ocean at 8:44 am.
Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense indicated that the military is closely monitoring recent intensive missile shooting exercises conducted by the PLA, employing joint intelligence surveillance methods to handle the situation effectively. They have also deployed surveillance aircraft, ships, and shore-based missile systems accordingly.
