Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Founding of the United States, New Tang Dynasty Competition Invites Photographers.

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence, the upcoming New Tang Dynasty’s “5th International Photography Competition” (hereinafter referred to as the photography competition) scheduled for the second half of this year has established a new competition award, the “Best Work Prize in Commemoration of America’s 250th Anniversary of Founding.”

On July 4th next year, America will commemorate its 250th year since its founding. Various commemorations will be held across the United States to celebrate this milestone occasion. The winners and participants of the New Tang Dynasty Photography Competition will have ample opportunities to showcase their works, expressing their admiration for America.

Therefore, New Tang Dynasty Television encourages photographers of all professional levels, including amateur photographers, student photographers, and professional photographers, to actively participate in this international competition to compete for a $2000 prize or the equivalent in photography equipment, products, and award certificates.

The New Tang Dynasty Photography Competition is now in its fifth edition, inviting photographers from around the world to submit exciting works capturing beautiful moments, acts of kindness, and natural images with finesse.

Entries will be categorized into social and humanistic works and scenic and natural works. Two new awards this year – “Best Work Prize in Commemoration of America’s 250th Anniversary of Founding” and “Best Sports Work Prize” – will also follow the competition’s requirements for humanistic works, capturing scenes of human life in natural states, portraits, folk culture, humor, human-animal interactions, human-environment interactions, allowing adjustments in brightness, color balance, and clarity, provided the results look natural.

The competition, organized by New Tang Dynasty Television, a sibling media of The Epoch Times, is one of a series of activities celebrating traditional cultural arts.

The mission of the New Tang Dynasty Photography Competition is to “inherit traditional aesthetics.” Therefore, while adjustments in brightness, color balance, and clarity are allowed for each piece, digital editing is not permitted.

Scenic and natural works require scenes and objects in natural states, including architecture and landscapes.

Each category will award one gold prize (with a $5000 prize or equivalent photography equipment/products/award certificate); two silver prizes (with a $2500 prize or equivalent photography equipment/products/award certificate); three bronze prizes (with a $2000 prize or equivalent photography equipment/products/award certificate); and ten outstanding prizes for each category (with a $300 prize or equivalent photography equipment/products/award certificate); with the new two prizes offering $2000 or equivalent photography equipment/products/award certificate.

Registration is open until July 31 this year; the award ceremony will be held in January next year in New York. For more details, visit: https://photo.ntdtv.com/b5/
