CCP deploys 61 aircrafts near Taiwan Strait, national army closely monitors.

The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China stated that a total of 61 aircraft and vessels from the Chinese Communist Party have been detected continuing activities around the Taiwan Strait since 6 a.m. on the 1st until 6 a.m. today (2nd), and the national military is closely monitoring and responding.

The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China announced this morning the dynamics of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in the airspace around the Taiwan Strait. From 6 a.m. on the 1st to 6 a.m. today, a total of 53 aircraft sorties by the PLA (including 37 instances crossing the median line of the strait into the northern and southwestern airspace) and 8 vessels have been detected, totaling 61 aircraft and vessels from the Chinese Communist Party continuing activities around the Taiwan Strait.

According to the activity map of the PLA entering the airspace around the Taiwan Strait released by the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China today, from 7:05 a.m. to 8:50 p.m. on the 1st, a total of 28 main fighters and drones of the PLA were detected in the airspace of the Taiwan Strait, with 12 instances crossing the median line of the strait.

From 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. on the 1st, a total of 25 main and support fighters and drones of the PLA were detected in the southwestern airspace of Taiwan.

The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China pointed out that the national military is using surveillance aircraft, vessels, and shore-based missile systems to closely monitor and respond to the situation.

The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China also announced that on the 3rd at 5:35 p.m., the Chinese Communist Party will launch a carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, flying towards the western Pacific and passing through Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).

Furthermore, at 12:20 p.m. today, the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China issued a press release stating, “Since 9:25 a.m. today, a total of 25 sorties of various types of main and support fighters and drones, such as the J-16 and KJ-500 from the PLA, have been successively detected engaging in maritime activity, with 16 instances crossing the median line and its extension, entering our northern, central, eastern, and southwestern airspace, in coordination with PLA vessels, under the guise of so-called ‘joint combat preparedness patrols,’ harassing our surrounding airspace and waters.”

The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China emphasized that the national military is using a combination of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance means to closely monitor the situation and dispatch appropriate responses through aircraft, vessels, and shore-based missile systems.
