CCP deploys 43 aircrafts near Taiwan Strait, National Army closely monitors.

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense announced today that a total of 43 Chinese Communist military aircraft and vessels have been detected continuing activities in the vicinity of the Taiwan Strait from 6 a.m. on the 24th (Tuesday) to 6 a.m. today (the 25th). The Taiwanese military is closely monitoring and responding to the situation.

According to the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China, the activities of Chinese Communist military aircraft and vessels in the airspace around the Taiwan Strait from 6 a.m. on the 24th to 6 a.m. today were disclosed this morning. A total of 37 instances of Chinese Communist aircraft (34 of which crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait into the southwest and southeast airspace of Taiwan) and 6 Chinese Communist vessels were detected, totaling 43 aircraft and vessels continuing activities in the vicinity of the Taiwan Strait.

Based on the illustrated map of the Chinese Communist military activities in the airspace around the Taiwan Strait released by the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China today, from 7:45 a.m. to 6:05 p.m. on the 24th, 5 instances of Chinese Communist main fighter jets and drones were detected in the airspace of the Taiwan Strait, with 2 instances crossing the median line of the Taiwan Strait, and some Chinese Communist aircraft entering the southwest airspace of Taiwan after crossing the median line and flying to the southeast airspace of Taiwan.

In addition, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. on the 24th, the Taiwanese military detected 31 instances of Chinese Communist main and support fighter jets and helicopters in the southwest airspace of Taiwan; and from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., 1 Chinese Communist helicopter was detected in the southeast airspace of Taiwan.

The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China pointed out that the Taiwanese military is deploying reconnaissance aircraft, ships, and shore-based missile (referred to as missiles in mainland China) systems to closely monitor and respond to the situation.
