Candy Shop Loses Member Just One Month After Debut, Will Add New Member

On May 9, 2024, at 0:00 Korean time, the entertainment agency Brave Entertainment announced that Yuina (結菜), a Japanese member of their girl group Candy Shop, would be temporarily halting activities due to health reasons. As a result, Candy Shop will be recruiting a new member to fill the void left by Yuina.

Candy Shop, which debuted on March 27 this year with the mini album “Hashtag#”, consists of three Korean members, Soram, Sui, Sarang, and Japanese member Yuina.

However, shortly after their debut, Brave Entertainment announced today (9th) that Yuina would be pausing activities due to health reasons. The company stated, “After thorough discussions with her, we have decided to respect the artist’s opinion and allow her to temporarily halt her activities.”

The company further mentioned, “As a result, Yuina will not participate in the upcoming scheduled events. Candy Shop will recruit a new member to continue activities as a four-member group.
