In the early hours, a surveillance camera at the entrance of a residential building in Compton, California captured a figure that appeared to be an alien walking by, sparking discussions among people. The question arose: Was this a real sighting of an alien?
According to a report from KNBC television station on July 23, the homeowner of the house, Jessica Ortiz, shared this 11-second footage on Instagram, which has been viewed over 1 million times so far.
The footage was recorded by the doorbell camera on her porch around 1 a.m. on June 5. In the beginning of the footage, a figure resembling an alien is seen passing along the edge of the porch. The figure disappears after a couple of seconds in the lower right corner of the screen.
Ortiz wrote: “Can someone explain to me what my doorbell camera just captured? Am I hallucinating?”
Ortiz mentioned that when she first saw the footage, she was almost going crazy. In disbelief, she called her son to see if he noticed anything unusual. To her surprise, her son also saw the figure that appeared to be an alien.
She said, “He sat on the bed and played it about three times. After the third time, he said, ‘Mom, that’s an alien, call the police.’ I thought, I’m definitely not calling the police to catch an alien. That would sound insane.”
Ortiz stated that her house has three cameras, and the other two did not capture the figure resembling an alien. She later called her neighbors to inquire if anyone was outside their homes. What unsettled her was that no one was outside.
At the end of the footage, a loud noise can be heard coming from outside. The source of these noises is currently unclear. Ortiz mentioned that her aunt who lives next door informed her the following afternoon that she heard a loud explosion during the time the footage was captured.
Some netizens believe that the figure in the footage resembles an alien or another mysterious being. Others speculate that it could be a person wearing a hat or someone in dark clothing carrying a light-colored backpack, appearing alien-like in the camera.
Nonetheless, Ortiz is firm in her belief that it was indeed an alien. She also assures that the footage has not been edited or fabricated.
Previously, Epoch Times reported that a Las Vegas resident claimed to have seen tall alien beings in his backyard in 2023. He alerted the authorities, stating that their eyes were glowing and their appearance was humanoid, asserting they were “100% not human.”
