Brownsville thug drags woman unconscious, sexually assaults her between two cars.

Last Wednesday morning, a man in the Bronx was seen strangling a woman on the roadside with a belt, dragging her to the middle of the vehicles and sexually assaulting her. The New York City Police Department released a video on May 10, and later identified the suspect as 39-year-old Kashaan Parks. Authorities called on the public to help identify and apprehend the suspect.

This incident took place on May 1st at 5 a.m., when a 45-year-old woman was walking near East 152nd Street and Third Avenue in the Bronx. Suddenly, a man with a white towel covering his face approached her from behind, wrapped a belt around her neck, rendered her unconscious, and dragged her between two parked cars to assault her. The man then fled on foot along Melrose Avenue. The woman was taken to Lincoln Hospital for treatment and later discharged.

After the incident, the police searched for surveillance footage in the area and found a video of the same man without a mask on the same night, which was released on May 10 for public identification. The suspect, Parks, is described as a Black man, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a white towel on his head, a GAP hoodie, white jogging pants, and black, red, and white sneakers at the time of the incident. According to crime statistics released by the police department earlier, there were six more cases of rape in April compared to the same month last year, totaling 124 cases. As of May 5th this year, there have been 511 reported cases of rape citywide, remaining consistent with the same period last year.
