New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating four suspects connected to a serious harassment and hate crime incident that occurred last month in the heart of Brooklyn.
According to police reports, the incident took place on the night of October 19th at around 10 p.m. A 29-year-old Asian couple was walking near 445 Albee Square (Albee Square, close to DeKalb Ave. station on the BQR subway line) when four strangers approached them, spewing anti-Asian remarks before splashing them with whipped cream and fleeing the scene.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The Hate Crimes Task Force of the New York City Police Department is currently investigating the case.
